Don’t let time or distance prevent you from caring for your loved one’s memorial. Our crew of Gravesite Guardians will regularly visit, care for, and respect your loved one’s gravesite memorial. We offer both annual packages and individual services that will meet your family’s needs.

The Guardians

The Gravesite Guardians aren’t your average group of workers. They’re a unique group of individuals that all excel and live with various developmental disabilities. For many, Gravesite Guardians is their first paid position and they’d be the first to tell you that employment within the Gravesite Guardians service is much more than a paycheck.

When the Guardians are working in one of the many cemeteries we serve, they’re thoughtful, focused, and methodical. They pause regularly to spend time at individual gravesites placing flowers, grooming grass, and cleaning up trash and debris. They take their time to provide quality service and are proud to care for your loved one’s memorial.

Visitation Services

Commemorate a special occasion or welcome the changing of seasons with a beautiful custom designed bouquet of flowers. Gravesite Guardians will help celebrate the beautiful moments from your loved one’s life by placing flowers, correspondence, or other items at their memorial. We’ll take the time to straighten the grounds and photograph the gravesite to be shared with family and friends.

During each visit to the memorial we’ll place a fresh bouquet of flowers (if desired), remove trash, old flowers, and debris, check for and report vandalism, groom and weed plot, and place a correspondence or special token (if desired). During each visit we’ll take numerous digital photos to be shared with you and your family.

Regular Visitation Package

Would you like us to make multiple visits throughout the year? Call today and we’ll work with you to set up an individualized package that ensures no special day goes forgotten. Annual packages start at $85.

One-Time Visit

Choose between silk and live flowers as we set a date to visit your loved one’s gravesite. Visits, including flowers, start at $30.

Cleaning and Preservation Services

Did you know that headstones should be cleaned every 6 months to ensure that they’re preserved in their original state? The Gravesite Guardians are trained in how to thoughtfully clean stone grave markers of all types and refinish bronze markers. After each cleaning we’ll take the time to straighten the grounds and photograph the gravesite to be shared with family and friends.

Our safe cleaning process takes about 3 hours and includes a treatment with the non-ionic biocide D2 eliminating all living growth and preventing regrowth for up to a year. Additionally, during each visit to the memorial we’ll place a fresh bouquet of flowers (if desired), remove trash, old flowers, and debris, check for and report vandalism, groom and weed plot, and place a correspondence or special token (if desired). During each visit we’ll take numerous digital photos to be shared with you and your family.

Custom Preservation Visit

After the initial cleaning visit we’ll return every 6 months to maintain cleanliness and preserve the stone. Custom packages are available upon request. Annual packages start at $200.

One-Time Cleaning

We carefully clean each headstone employing best practices to ensure that we don’t damage the stone while removing stains. We treat the headstone with a non-ionic biocide to eliminate all lichen, mosses, and other live growth. Visits, including cleaning, start at $100.
